Hints and Cheats
As I have no experience of any
computer games I am really grateful for these contributions. I do,
however, have to rely on the information received being genuine. In
view of this I must stress I cannot guarantee results.
I realise that these games are now
somewhat dated and may even be obsolete but I thought the information may be
useful to some and, perhaps, difficult to find so I have left it on site.

A word of warning here, (sent in by and anonymous
visitor) - apparently some of the sites featuring "game cheats" are thought to
be harvesting the email addresses of visitors in order to promote porn sites.

THE
SIMS 2 (PC)
I have a
cheat for the new THE SIMS 2 game on the pc. this cheat also works on all
the expansion packs that have come out (university and nightlife).
The
cheat is for money when this is typed in you will receive $50,000!
GET THE WHITE
BOX UP BY HOLDING DOWN SHIFT AND CONTROL THEN PRESS 'C'
Type
in the box 'motherlode' then press enter!
You
can also stop the aging from happening by getting the box up again (the
white one) the type in 'aging_off' your sims will now not grow up until you
cancel it (if you want to) Get the box and type in 'aging_on' your sims
will now start aging.
This is one
for more random clothes and heads (not the best)
When
you are in the neighbourhood (before you choose a family to play with) get
the white box up (shift,control+c) type in
boolprop
testingcheatsenabled true
Press
enter then go into create a new family
Hold
down shift and press N! then carry on making your family with more options!

LEISURE
SUITE LARRY 1
To get through the questions at the
beginning just enter your age and then hold down Alt and Z, and hey presto
you are through!

MINESWEEPER
(Windows XP version)
Start minesweeper, type 'xyzzy@ then hold
Shift and press enter. If you look at the top left corner of the screen you will see
a single white pixel. If you put your mouse over a square with a mine under it and
it will turn black. If it is safe it remains white.

For quick money, key in
"klapaucius;:" then hold enter till you get the amount of money you desire.
For moving your sims during the buy mode,
just key in "move_objects on/off".
For knowing the sims' interests, key in
"interest".

Cheat mode
While playing a game, hold [Shift] and type 1234567890 to enable cheat mode. This will
allow you to view enemy cities, sell their improvements, unfortify their units, rearrange
their resources, and view the power chart and the replay.
Unlimited turns
Move every unit except for one. Then, save and quit the game.
Reload the game to start with your turn with all units that last moved still in position
and able to move again.
Full map
While playing a game, press [Shift] + 5 + 6, then select any location on the map.

Cheats (Demo Test)
Load Q3DemoTest, press ~ to display the console, then type "/spdevmap [map
name]". Use one of the following values for [map name]:

The game will load in single player mode with the current settings of both variables, and
cheat mode enabled. Then, enter one of the following codes to activate the corresponding
cheat:
Toggle God mode /god

This first cheat is for version 1.1
Hit CTRL + Shift + C
Type Rosebud; ;
Press the enter key and hold it down until you get
the desired amount.

Magic garbage bag
The following trick will save the time needed to take the garbage to the street. Buy the
30 simolian trash can. Order your Sim to empty it, then cancel the order just as they
remove the bag from the trashcan. Then, order them to pick up the mess that they just
created. Your Sim will return the full bag to an empty can. Repeat this each time it fills
and trash will never have to be brought outside again.
2: Whenever your garbage can is full, go to the buy mode and sell
it! Since it only takes a few days to get full, you will get the full amount back.
Then just buy a new one.

Less bills
Keep an unpaid bill until the mailman delivers the next set of bills. Pay the original
bill when your mailbox is filled with the next set of bills. This should cause the bills
inside the mailbox to disappear.
Quick money
While playing a game, press [Ctrl] + [Shift] + [Alt] + C and enter the
"klapaucius" code. Then, display the cheat prompt again and type
"!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!:!;!" (up to sixty
total commands may be entered).
I have just been informed by a visitor that
you can also type in !;9 and then keep clicking "Enter".
Free Cell
To keep losses to a minimum on your statistics, when you see you are on your last possible
move before losing the game you are playing, minimise that game to the bottom of the
screen and play another if you want to. You can keep doing this when you know you
are about to lose the game. When you finish, shut down the computer. When
restarting these almost lost games will not be counted as losses.

Time of day
I have been informed that if you want to set a
different time of day type in set_hour then type in a number from 1-24.
Baby
Apparently if you want your baby to sleep all day
do feed, play, sing, feed, sing.
